A two-year-old Iranian girl fell to her death from the window of a 14th floor apartment in Sharjah on Wednesday.

The incident happened in the Mamzar Lakes area of the city.

Sharjah police operations room was informed about the incident in a telephone call at 1.47 pm on Wednesday.

Police said the child was standing some furniture near the window. She stuck her head out of the window, losing her balance and plunged to her death.
