5 new parks for Dubai; Oud Al Muteena park unveiled [Video]

In a bid to add to its green footprint, the Dubai Municipality is unveiling five new parks for the emirate over five days.

The first to be opened was Nakheel Park on March 6, and the second was Al Twar II Park on March 7.

Today, Oud Al Muteena was opened. The announcements were made on the civic body’s social media platforms.

The park was inaugurated by Major General Khamis Mattar Al Mazina, Dubai Police Commander-in-Chief, along with Dubai Municipality head Hussain Naseer Lootah.

A video revealing the interiors was posted, with the message, “Oud Al Muteena First Park is designed to suit all ages and groups. The park has a specific area for kids’ entertainment and a walkway area that was created according to the highest international standards.”

The first three were opened over the last three days, and two more will follow in the next two days. Al Warqa II Park will be opened on March 9, while Al Mankhool Park will open on March 10.

The move coincides with plantation week.
