5 wedding halls to be built in Dubai at Dh35m

Dubai Municipality is building five wedding halls in Al Barsha, Al Tawar, Al Lisaili ( two halls) and Hatta at a total cost of Dh35 million.

Hussain Nasser Lootah, Director General of Dubai Municipality said: “Like other projects of the civic body, the green building standards are applied in all these halls which are expected to meet the increased requirements of growing population in sync with the traditional values and modern development.”

The hall in Hatta which has been built over 1900 square metres is capable of accommodatin 750 invitees in addition to a service area, kitchen, electric and sound rooms and bride room with 330 parking slots. The frontages of the hall is designed to be in line with the heritage of Hatta.

Two halls in Al Lisaili are two neighbouring buildings built for women and men separately in a total area of 3800 square metres with the seating capacity for 750 in each and 165 parking slots.

One hall is located in Al Tawar 3 area near  Al Tawar Park and built on 3000 square metres. It has capacity to accommodate 1,100 people and can be used as two halls at a time for two different functions if required. 

The specifications of Al Barsha Hall are similar to the Al Tawar Hall. Each hall has also an area for conducting external activities associated with the bridal functions such as Ayala and wedding tent.
