50% RAK traffic fine discount ends Dec. 10

The last day for availing the 50 per cent discount in fines for vehicle offences in Ras Al Khaimah is Wednesday December 10.

Colonel Ali Saeed Al Alkim, director of Traffic and Patrols of Ras Al Khaimah Police, urged vehicle owners to take advantage of the discount offer, saying the deadline cannot be extended.
 
Col. Alkim said a campaign against traffic rule violators will be launched on the streets of the emirate after the end of the discount period. The discount will particularly benefit those who with large accumulated fines, he added.
