The emirate of Fujairah is bracing for one of its biggest mass weddings that will bring together 80 couples to mark 40 years of the country’s establishment.
The wedding, the 12th in the emirate, will be staged at the heritage village at the Fujeirah Fort on December 8, organizers said.
“The door is still open for more couples to join this wedding…those who wish to register have until November 24,” they said in a statement carried by the Arabic language daily Alittihad on Tuesday.
