An Emirati housewife was awarded nine months in jail by the Dubai Criminal Court of First Instance for running a prostitution den at Al Muteena area and exploiting a juvenile prostitute, among others.
According to the prosecution, the housewife SMD, 48, with the assistant of SYB, 45, Filipina maid, and TSS, 60, Syrian accountant, ran the vice den. The Filipina collected money from clients and the Syrian man was supplying the den with girls.
An Iranian visitor AAM, 33, was also accused of having consensual sex with the housewife.
The juvenile prostitute ATK was referred to the Juvenile Court whereas the other 23-year-old prostitute FM, who holds a maid’s visa, is being prosecuted in this court.
The Dubai Criminal Court of First Instance sentenced the Syrian man to nine months in jail and the Filipina SYB to six months. The Iranian man was given three months in jail and the Filipina FM received six months. All convicts except the Emirati were ordered to be deported after serving their jail terms.
Corporal Saleh Mohammed testified that a police informer agreed with SMD to get entertained by one of her girls against Dh2,000 for two hours. “The informer was handed over Dh2,000 of police money after which he left for the den. Shortly later, police raided the den and arrested the owner of the den and the juvenile girl ATK.
