9-year-old dies in Sharjah car accident

A 9-year-old Asian boy was killed in a car accident and three members of his family were badly injured in Sharjah, Emarat Al Youm reports.

According to the report, the accident took place late on Sunday and the injured were transferred immediately to Al Dhaid hospital for treatment.

An official at Al Dhaid hospital clarified that the injured were brought to the emergency department of the hospital and that the child was dead when brought to the hospital.

He added that the child died due to bleeding in the brain.

While the mum and dad have moderate injuries, a 14- year-old daughter is seriously injured and in the hospital ICU.
