An attempt to smuggle more than 144 grams of drugs into Oman through the UAE on a truck was foiled by Abu Dhabi Customs officers in Haili Customs Center near Al Ain.

The 144,56 grams of drugs were concealed in 4 balloons inside shoes and in plastic bags under the front seats of the truck which was driven by a national of an Arab country.

The driver and the seized drugs were referred to the relevant authorities.
