Under the patronage of Gen. Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, the 22nd edition of Abu Dhabi International Book Fair 2012 begins tomorrow.
The event is organized by Abu Dhabi Tourism and Culture Authority (Adta) at Adnec.
Some 900 publishers from all over the world are participating in the six-day event and about half million books in 33 different languages will be showcased.
Sheikh Sultan bin Tahnoon Al Nahyan, Chairman of Adta, in a statement on the occasion said the holding of the event is the result of years of efforts and sustainable work that has changed it from being local and Arab Book Fair into one of the significant Book Fairs in the world.
