Accident on Al Khail Road; expect delays with traffic gridlock

Traffic is moving slowly on Al Khail Road, heading towards Business Bay bridge from Jebel Ali, due to an accident.
 
Dubai Police cars and an ambulance are on the scene, along with a tow truck, as per eyewitnesses, with traffic almost at standstill “due to rubberneckers” said K Sridhar.
 
He further said: “The accident site is in the direction of Business Bay bridge, where the Al Khail Road turns left after the Ras Al Khor and Hatta exits.
 
“Authorities are already on the scene, but due to rubberneckers, there is almost a gridlock and complete chaos on the highway; people should expect delays.”

It is unclear how many vehicles are involved in the accident.
