A massive accident has been reported on Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Road (earlier known as Emirates Road) at around 8.45am this morning.

Sharjah-bound traffic has been stalled as a result.

Eye witnesses claimed that four cars were involved in the accident.

“I could see four cars – one was a Porsche, another a taxi, and the third was a pathfinder. There was one more, but I couldn’t spot it clearly,” informed Abraham, a motorist.

“It appears the accident was caused when the Porsche attempted a quick lane change and probably attempted to take the University City exit,” he analysed.

The accident has been reported just after the National Paints roundabout.
