Adec hashtag on moral education attracts strong response

Abu Dhabi Education Council’s (Adec) hashtag has received over 70 million hits within the first few hours of its launch on Saturday, Al Bayan newspaper reported.

The hashtag was launched to seek opinions on moral education, an initiative announced by His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces.

Dr. Ali Al-Nuaimi, Director General of Abu Dhabi Education Council, said tweeted that this initiative would brighten the future of the country.

He explained that the moral education is an initiative to address challenges faced by societies, especially in light of new technology.

Sharing their thoughts on the hashtag, the UAE citizens said that the inclusion of the moral education in school curricula is the best way to prepare the new generations for the future.

The UAE citizens are the best examples of good morals and sophistication in public dealings, tweeted Mohammed Jalal Al Raisi, Mohammed Al Maskari and Nasser Mohammed.
