Ministry of Education (MoE) has sacked the teacher of an Ajman school who physically assaulted a student, Al Bayan reported.
The video clip of the teacher beating the student had gone viral in October and the ministry had suspended him pending investigation.
The teacher was referred to the legal department.
According to the Al Bayan report, the ministry had taken several measures to have a transparent investigation into the incident.
MoE summoned the teacher after the minister was appraised of the investigation results.
The teacher’s services has been terminated as it has been proved that he violated rules. He holds the right to his end-of-service gratuity.
