Al Neyadi made Energy Ministry undersecretary

President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan has issued a federal decree, naming Dr Mattar Hamed Al Neyadi as Undersecretary of the Ministry of Energy.
 
Al Neyadi was born in Al Ain City. He obtained BA in Shariah and Law from University of UAE in 1990 and PhD in International Public Law from Edinburg in the United Kingdom in 1997. Al Neyadi had worked as a legal adviser with the UAE Armed Forces and with the Permanent Committee for Borders. Al Neyadi was also the Secretary General for the Borders Affairs Council when it was set up.

He was appointed in 2012 as the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Energy in accordance with the federal decree No. 4 of year 2012.

Dr Al Neyadi issued a number of legal publications, notably, the Maritime Zones of the UAE and the Rules of International Treaties in Public International law.
