Students visiting Gitex Shopper have not only been snapping up the latest smartphones, tablets and laptops for all their schooling needs, they’ve also been submitting their best report cards to win a university scholarship being awarded each day of the show, thanks to an initiative launched by Amity University.

Two lucky students, Syed Basheer from Gulf Indian High School and Sakina Kesaria from Indian High School Dubai, collected their scholarships earlier this week, after submitting school reports with the highest marks on the respective days they visited Gitex Shopper, scooping two of the eight scholarships available worth Dh35,000 each and applicable to any Bachelor’s Degree offered by Amity University.

All students who have passed Grade 11 and who visit Gitex Shopper with a special promotional student ticket priced at Dh10 are eligibile. Candidates are asked to complete an entry form at the Amity University stall at Gitex Shopper and submit their report cards either in hardcopy or via email, with winners to be notified post event after marks are verified by the admissions team at Amity University Dubai.
