An Emirati citizen died and his brother was injured in a collision between their vehicle and a truck

The General Command of Ras Al Khaimah Police revealed the death of a 21-year-old citizen, and the injury of his brother, with injuries described as moderate, this morning, Thursday, in a collision between their vehicle and a truck on one of the roads in the emirate.

The details of this accident are summarized in the collision of the vehicle driven by a young citizen, accompanied by his brother, with a truck that was driving in front of them from behind, and driven by an Asian driver, as a result of not leaving a sufficient distance, which led to the death of the companion and the injury of his brother with moderate injuries.

Immediately after receiving the report of the accident, police and national ambulance patrols rushed to the scene, and the deceased young man and his injured brother were transferred to the hospital in preparation for handing over the body to his family to hold burial ceremonies over him according to the established rules and to provide the necessary treatment for the injured, while the traffic authorities received the accident file to complete the legal procedures.
