Arab woman dies on spot after being run over by vehicle in Sharjah

A 36-year-old Arab woman died in a hit-and-run accident in Sharjah, reports Al Bayan.

According to the report, the woman was crossing the road on King Abd Al Aziz Street in Sharjah when she was hit by a four-wheel vehicle being driven by an Arab man.

The victim was seriously injured due to the impact. When the police and rescue teams arrived at the scene of accident along with an ambulance, they found that she had died on the spot due to the fatal injuries.

The victim's body was sent to the forensic laboratory.

Sharjah Police called on road users to use the pedestrian crossings, bridges, and zebra crossings to avoid such accidents.
