Arab woman's mystery fall from balcony
A young Arab woman survived a fall from the balcony of her first floor apartment in Ajman on Monday.
Ajman Police, who rushed to the site following an emergency alert, discovered her lying in a pool of blood at the entrance of the building.
The police ambulance wasted no time in transferring her to a hospital.
The 22-year-old is being treated in the intensive care unit.
Local media reports say the woman suffers from several injuries.
Ajman Police are investigating if the fall was an accident, after she lost balance and tripped over or if she was attempting suicide.
She stays with her family in the apartment.
