Asian enters on compatriot's passport, caught leaving Dubai

A Pakistani who allegedly entered the country illegally using a compatriot’s passport and visa was discovered while leaving the country via Dubai International Airport, the Dubai Criminal Court heard.
 
SA, posed as FM at Dubai International Airport as he submitted a genuine passport in the name of FM and claimed to be him.
 
The officer suspected the picture on the passport was not of the passenger standing in front of him.
 
However, the passenger insisted that he was the same person whose picture was in the passport.
 
The officer found out that the passenger entered the country three weeks earlier through Sharjah International Airport using FM’s passport and visit visa.
 
The passenger was referred to airport security who found out that the passport was not of the passenger.
 
The passenger admitted that his name is SA, 31, and that FM had given him his passport and visa before visiting the country.
 
He used his friend’s passport and visa to visit the UAE and records did not mention the reason.
 
The court will reconvene on February 21.
