A seven month old boy has suffered massive internal bleeding in his head after falling from a bed at his home.
Al Khaleej reported that the child fell at dawn on Monday while asleep but appeared normal even several hours after the incident.
The child had no visible injuries and showed no signs of pain in the first few hours after the fall, however, after several hours the boy vomited, fell unconscious and passed into coma.
The child has been admitted to Saqr Hospital of Ras AL Khaima where he has undergone sensitive and delicate surgeries to stop bleeding in the brain.
The doctors are waiting for 24 hours to pass after the surgery to determine the outcome of the surgery.
