Bahrain-born Brit confesses to smuggling heroin

A Bahrain-born 54-year-old Briton confessed to transporting 85 capsules containing 679.41gms of heroin before the Dubai Criminal Court.

Adel Hamad a Dubai Customs inspector said that RG arrived on a flight from Pakistan on January 13.

Inspecting the passenger’s handbag he found some capsules wrapped in nylon.

When confronted, RG confessed to possessing drugs and said that he had swallowed more.

The accused confessed to possessing drugs before the Prosecution and the Court.

The case was adjourned to the end of the month for verdict.
