Beach warning: Sea could get really rough

Rough seas and strong winds may be a cause to ruin a long weekend of outdoor fun near the beach side or in the desert.

Those wishing to take advantage of the Hijri [new year] and National Day holidays are advised to be careful near the sea - or preferably stay away.

Those driving to picnics, need to be careful about blowing sand and visibility impairment.

The National Centre for Meteorology and Seismology (NCMS) has warned about beach and sea activities due to severe disturbance for two days starting from Wednesday.
