Book now: Airfare deals end September

This month is perhaps the best time to buy tickets at a discounted rate if you are planning travelling out of the UAE during the peak winter season (Christmas and New Year).

Ticket prices usually soar during December and January, when many passengers travel during the festive season and school winter break. If you plan ahead (that is now) you can get good deals as special fare season of regional airlines ends soon.

If you are planning a trip in the next three months or so, Emirates airlines has special fares to 70 different cities across continents.

Under the offer, passengers can enjoy special fares in business and economy class if they book by September 12, 2013 and travel between the 22nd of this month and January 31, 2014.

Qatar Airways also has special fares from the UAE to select destinations. To avail these special rates you need to book between September 1, 2013 and September 30, 2013 but there is a black out between October 7-18, 2013 and December 14 to 25, 2013. Travel must commence between September 1, 2013 and December 14, 2013.

If you are looking at travelling this month, take advantage of Etihad Airways’ coral economy class specials, on for less than two weeks now. The special fares start from Dh1,165 for a return ticket. However, sale and travel are valid until September 21, 2013.

The airline also has other fantastic fares from the UAE on their pearl business and coral economy class to selected destinations. “So, book now to avoid disappointment, as this amazing promotion ends on September 12,” reads the website.
