Boy drowns in irrigation pool at RAK home

Thirteen-year-old Ahmad Abdullah Al Afus Al Shehi, a grade 5 student, lost his life after he drowned in a basin at an irrigation farm in Ras  Al Khaimah last week.

The Emirati boy lost his balance and fell into the tank while playing with his siblings and friends at his grandfather's farm, reported 'Gulf News'.

He breathed his alst while being taken to a hospital. The body was handed over to the boy's family after investigations ruled ot any foul play.
