A security guard who works for a building is charged with molesting a British woman whom he allegedly hugged, kissed and groped.
In a case that came up for hearing at the Dubai Criminal Court, the 21-year-old bank employee was attacked by the watchman identified as BHM, 26.
According to the victim’s testimony, she was at the parking lot of Rimal Tower on the night of August 21 after she dropped a friend named Simon when the man approached her and got into his lewd act. Unmindful of her resistance to his physical advances, the victim alleged, the watchman tried to feel her breasts.
In their testimonies, her friends and colleagues MJ, 25, and CL, 27, said the woman went to them absolutely shocked and hysterically crying after escaping the clutches of the watchman.
Simon, a New Zealander, testified that she had accompanied him to hail a taxi and she was not under the influence of alcohol, as alleged by the watchman.
The court will issue its verdict on the case on December 20.
