Buying phone credit on road? Sharjah Police arrest 3

The Criminal Investigation Department of Sharjah have arrested three men, all Bangladeshis, for selling phone credits to members of the public on the roads, without obtaining a permit from the authorities.

Colonel Jihad Sahoo, Director, CID, ordered police patrols to quickly prosecute those involved in such illegal activities and to bring them to trial.
He appealed to members of the public to cooperate with the police by reporting these activities which are contrary to the law.

He also asked people not to deal with such offenders as it would expose them to legal accountability.
