Camel kick puts child in intensive care

A three-year-old Emirati boy suffered from serious head injuries after he was kicked by a camel at his father’s farm in Fujeirah, a newspaper has said.

Saeed was standing at the barn gate while his father was leading the camels for their daily meal inside the barn at the farm in Tuwein area in the emirate.

“One of the camels kicked Saeed, sending him high in the air before he landed on his head,” his father Rashid Matar told Alittihad newspaper.

“He suffered from bruises in the back and serious head injuries…he was admitted to the intensive care unit at Fujeirah Hospital…..his wounds have been stitched but doctors say he should stay there for a while.”
