Car ablaze in accident; woman dead

An Emirati woman died in an accident after her vehicle caught fire on Monday afternoon.

According to a report in Arabic daily ‘Emarat Al Youm’, the woman died when her vehicle collided with a truck, resulting in her vehicle catching fire.

Driving from Yas towards Dubai on Monday afternoon, the woman died after the accident.

Police rushed to the scene to investigate the accident and manage traffic movement.

Abu Dhabi Police appealed motorists to keep safe distance between the vehicles, pay attention to the road and follow traffic rules to ensure their own safety and the other road users.
