Car on fire on Sheikh Zayed Road in Dubai; cop puts blaze out

A car has caught fire on Sheikh Zayed Road in Dubai.

The incident happened at around 3pm opposite Oasis Mall on the road towards Abu Dhabi.

A policeman, who was driving by, stopped his car and tried to put out the blaze using the small fire extinguisher in his car.

The driver inside the saloon car was not injured and was seen standing outside.

There was a minor traffic jam on the road as two lanes adjacent to the burning vehicle was blocked.
