Five young Emiratis celebrated the 40th National Day of the UAE in a unique manner. They stuck 47,000 one dirham coins on a car, reported 'Al Khaleej' newspaper.

It took Ahmed Gharib, Sultan Saqr, Saif Al Naqbi, Faris Mohammed and Ali Gharib about 164 hours to decorate the car. Later they towed the car which was placed on a truck for about a thousand miles.

It was a huge task to collect so many coins, Ali Gharib, who oversaw the decoration, was quoted as saying by the paper. Gas stations, groceries and even banks helped them, he added.
