Child run over by police car in Sharjah

A 7-year-old Egyptian boy died after he was run over by a police car while crossing a street in Sharjah, press reports said on Wednesday.

The boy suffered from serious injuries in the head and legs and died in hospital later, they said.

The police car driver was detained for interrogation, they added.
