Child's head crushed between lift and wall

An Arab five-year-old boy died yesterday after his head was crushed between the wall and the elevator in his father's shop in Al Yarmouk, Sharjah.

The Sharjah Police rushed to the site of the accident after the operations room received a call saying they a child had suffered severe injuries after being trapped between the wall and the lift, Al Ittihad reported.

The child’s father's shop sold perfumes and watches at the gold souq in the Al Yarmouk  area.

A criminal investigation of Sharjah Police and a police team from Al Gharb Police Station have begun an investigation to determine whether the lift conforms to conditions or not.
