Counterfeit tyres worth Dh10m seized

Ajman Police seized counterfeit car tyres worth Dh10 million from the market, reported 'Gulf Today'.

On a tip-off that a number of illegal residents were using some warehouses in industrial areas to store counterfeit tyres and were planning to sell them at lower than market rates, the police raided the places, said an Ajman Police official.

The violators used identical trademarks of renowned tyre companies on the fake products.
