The State Security Circuit at the Federal Supreme Court, chaired by Judge Falah Al Hajri, on Monday resumed hearing pleadings from defendants and defence in the case of those accused of belonging to an illegal secret organisation.
The session was attended by 73 male defendants,12 female defendants,134 relatives of the defendants, 20 representatives of the media, and three members of civil society organisations, including two from the Emirates Human Rights Association, one from the Jurists Association in the UAE.
Also present were defence lawyers and six members from the public prosecution.
The court will hold a session today to continue hearing the defence pleadings.
