Crash kills dad, daughters in Sharjah

A man and his two daughters died on Sunday afternoon when their vehicle collided with a truck, Al Khaleej newspaper reports.

The report states that the collision was between a four-wheel vehicle, driven by the father, and the truck, in Sharjah.

The father was on his way home after picking up his daughters who finished their first day of school.

Ambulance and rescue units, and police, moved immediately to the site of the accident where the driver of the truck was found injured.

The father and daughters died on the spot due to serious head injuries.

The report has not identified the nationality of the deceased.
