Pakistan Super League (PSL) T20 cricket playsoffs are underway at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium.

The inaugural edition has witnessed remarkable success with weekend games witnessing full-capacity crowd.

We’re just one match away from the final and cricket fever is reaching its peak here in the UAE.

The success of the tournament is reflected in the final match being almost a sold-out affair, three-days before the match.

Few official tickets for the final match are still on sale in places such as AJ Sports in Dubai's Karama area.

“Tickets are selling like hot cakes. Just a few tickets are left,” said an official selling tickets at the outlet.

Meanwhile, PSL’s official website for ticket sale - Kyazoonga.com - shows all tickets – from Dh30 to Dh900 – have been sold out.

Tickets for the final, however, have been put up for sale on the social media websites, at much higher rates.

A seller is offering Dh30 tickets for Dh35 on dubizzle.com.

When contacted by Emirates 24|7, he said: “I bought these tickets online. I’ve a package of 10 tickets. I am selling a Dh30 ticket for Dh35.”

Another seller is re-selling the Dh30 tickets for Dh170.

Other tickets are being sold at double the original price – Dh900 ticket is being sold for Dh1,800, as per online ads.

The underdogs and most-economical club with a $11-million price tag, Quetta Gladiators have surprised and are the first team that has qualified for the final.

The winner of today’s game between Islamabad United and Peshawar Zalmi will clash in the finals with the Gladiators on Tuesday, February 23, for the title.
