Crown Prince inaugurates Art Dubai

Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, on Tuesday inaugurated the seventh session of the ‘Art Dubai’ at the Madinat Jumeirah in Dubai.

The show is an international exhibition hosted by Dubai annually under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai.

Sheikh Hamdan, accompanied by Sheikh Majid bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Chairman of the Dubai Culture & Arts Authority, toured the exhibition, which is attended by more than 500 artists and galleries from the UAE and various other countries.

Attends Wathba camel racing competitions  
 
Sheikh Hamdan Bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum and Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Presidential Affairs attended the final competitions of the Final Annual Camel Races Festival at Al Wathba 2013, held at the Al Wathba racetrack, Abu Dhabi.

The 8-km race for camels owned by sheikhs was attended also by Sheikh Majed bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Chairman of Dubai Culture and Arts Authority, Sheikh Sultan bin Hamdan Al Nahyan, Advisor to the UAE President and President of the UAE Camel Racing Federation, Sheikh Hamad Bin Jasim Al Thani, Chairman of Organising Committee of Camel Races in Qatar and others.

Sheikh Sultan bin Hamdan Al Nahyan attributed the success of the annual event to the unwavering support extended by President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, His Highness General Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces and Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Presidential Affairs to traditional sports in general, and to camel racing in particular.
