A one-day-old boy was found on the top of a building in Sharjah and police said he was handed over to hospital for treatment, press reports said on Tuesday.
Police and an ambulance had rushed to the building in Al Yarmouk neighborhood in the northern emirate after receiving a report about the infant.
The semi-official daily Al Ittihad said the boy was wrapped in a piece of cloth and that he was in a good condition.
“Police handed him over to Al Qassimi Hospital, which said he would be checked and treated before he is transferred to the social care centre,” it said.
