Decomposed body found in Sharjah flat

An elderly Emirati was found dead in his apartment in Sharjah’s Al Nadha area.

Police, who received information about odour emanating from the building, dispatched CID and a forensic team to the site, and they discovered a decomposed body, reported ‘Al Khaleej’.

The deceased has been identified and is believed to be 67 years old.

The body has been transferred to the forensic lab to determine the cause of death.

Cops found no signs of assault on his body.
