Dense fog shrouds Abu Dhabi

Dense morning fog ‎is being reported across parts of UAE on Sunday morning, with visibility down to 50 metres in Abu Dhabi.
 
Parts of Dubai and Ras Al Khaimah are also affected, with the UAE’S National Center for Meteorology and Seismology (NCMS) also reporting a gradual rise in temperatures from today.
 
At 6.30am, the NCMS tweeted on its official account: "Fog over Abu Dhabi and adjoining areas. with visibility less than 50m at times.
 
‎"NCMS warns against chance of fog formation with poor visibility over some coastal and internal areas especially the northern areas."
 
The capital is most affected, with Al Dhafra, Sweihan, Khalifa City reporting visibility below 50m.
 
In Dubai, Al Maktoum International Airport stretch is shrouded in mist, while Al Minhad Air base, Al Ain and Ras Al Khaimah are also affected.
 
The Ministry of Interior Abu Dhabi also issued a road warning tweeting: "‎Low visibility due to fog formation on different parts in Abu Dhabi and high ways. Motorists are urged to take extra caution‎."
 
The NCMS has stated temperatures will gradually rise from Sunday, with humidity levels spiking by Monday.
