Dh1 iPhone auctions, free iPads with cameras

As the Gitex Shopper enters its final three days, retailers are auctioning off some of the older models of smartphones, including the iPhone, while others are bundling up Apple products and free televisions on the purchase of cameras.

One Mobile will be holding Dh1 auctions at its stand after 4pm for the next three days, with the iPhone 5s and the HTC M8 to go under the proverbial hammer every 30 minutes or so, revealed a staffer.

Another smartphone deal is available on the Samsung Galaxy S5 Duos 4G (E City) for Dh2,199, and includes either a camera or a Bluetooth speaker, headphones, a screen protector, a car charger, a power bank, a mobile case and more. Plus, those who spend more than Dh100 there are eligible to enter a raffle to drive home a BMW car.

Jacky’s Electronics has announced a deal on the Lenovo S850 smartphone, which is bundled with a Sony smartwatch ad a 7-inch tablet for Dh999. The retailer is also taking pre orders for the Samsung Note 4, with the booking amount being Dh300, while the price for the upcoming device is Dh2,799.

Those in the market for DSLR cameras can take note of these offers (Plug Ins) on two Nikon models: the D3300 is bundled with the 18-40mm lens, an iPad Mini, a tripod, an 8GB Card and a carry case for Dh3,999.

Also available is the Nikon D5200, which is bundled with an 18-105 lens, with a 40-inch full HD TV and a Dh500 worth training voucher, also for Dh3,999.
