Even his ill health could not disguise the crackling chemistry that Shah Rukh Khan shares with his on-screen leading lady, Kajol, as the duo addressed UAE media amidst a promotional blitzkrieg for their upcoming 'Dilwale'.

Joining the duo were co-stars Varun Dhawan and Kriti Sanon, who spent much of their time gushing about working with two legendary actors.

While 'Dilwale' is already expected to send the cash registers ringing at the global box office, Shah Rukh is quick to admit that his film could lose out on a bumper opening as it clashes with two juggernauts on December 17.

He stated: "Our biggest competition in the UAE in fact is not 'Bajrirao' but 'Star Wars'. It is unfortunate that 'Bajirao Mastani' is releasing on the same day.

"At a personal level you feel no competition, some of us have worked together in the past. A clash with 'Bajirao Mastani' is unavoidable and unfortunate. Here we have 'Star Wars. Down south in India, there are two big films releasing. Business gets divided. We won't have an opening."

The actor continued: "We are different genres, so we should appeal to a family audience. And this being a holiday period, we should make up for it. I only wish every audience member was like my son AbRam, who claps and says those three words with enthusiasm when his father is on screen."

Celebrating over 25 years in Indian cinema, there is little Shah Rukh has not done or seen.

Ask him the secret of his success, and he says: "The reason for my stardom is because of markets like the UAE, US and the UK, where my film do well.
