DM opens dental clinic in Al Muhaisina

Dubai Municipality opens a new dental clinic for workers in Al Muhaisina.

Mohamed Abdul Karim Julfar, Assistant Director-General, Dubai Municipality, in the presence of senior officials, inaugurated the dental clinic for workers in their accommodation in Al Muhaisina.

Zohoor Hussain AL-Sabbagh, Director of Public Health Services Department of Dubai Municipality said this initiative comes as part of civic body’s efforts to provide best living conditions to its workers in line with its strategic vision and goal in the field of public health.

‘The move is aimed at providing free dental treatment for the workers of the civic body who are under grade four, helping workers to save money and time and thus increase their work commitment and productivity,’ she said.

‘The clinic has advanced facilities and equipment, which include separate room for doctors , treatment, sanitation and waiting area in addition to a reception and a pharmacy, which will be open during official working hours. A doctor, assistant, pharmacist and a receptionist have been already appointed,’ she said. 

Approximately 8,000 workers are expected to avail this facility. This is the first specialized medical service provided by DM to its workers. The workers also get general treatment services through the DM clinic under the department.
