DMI honours UAE senior citizens

Under the auspices of Sheikha Rawdha bint Ahmed Al Maktoum, wife of Sheikh Hamdan bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai and Minister of Finance, the Society Department at Dubai Media Incorporated (DMI), organised a cruise for 80 senior citizens on the occasion of International Day of Older Persons.

The trip lasted seven hours and included a large number of poets, artists, journalists, social workers, doctors and nurses in order to honor those elderly people in recognition of their role in the renaissance of the UAE.

The seniors came from Ajman Old People’s Home, Sharjah Old People's Home, and Al Mamzar Centre for the Elderly of Dubai.
