The National Centre for Meteorology and Seismology (NCMS) has urged motorists to take extra care because of the low horizontal visibility due to fog.
In a statement on Thursday, the centre urged motorists to adhere to the traffic rules especially on highways.
Of late, the country has been witnessing volatile weather with strong winds, fog and roughseas leading to variations in temperatures.
These have also made driving conditions tricky as well as restricted outdoor events such as beach and wadi activities.
