It's nearly the end of the month-long shopping festival, which spoiled shoppers with great bargains, fun entertainment acts and some big raffle wins. So, the last weekend is a great time to continue the celebrations.

First up is the raffle tickets. There's the Infiniti Mega Raffle, which will stand them chance to win Infiniti QX70 and Dh200,000 in cash, and the Nissan Grand Raffle, that gives away one of its 8 models. And, as a special offer, shoppers who buy Infiniti Mega Raffle ticket will receive a free coupon for the Nissan Grand Raffle. With the draws held daily until February 6, there's still time to test our luck.

Apart from the car and cash, there's also gold to take home for a lucky few. Run by the Dubai Gold and Jewellery Group, there are mega promotions offering shoppers fabulous gold prizes every day, even a kilo of gold up for grabs.

If that's not exciting enough, there's the unique opportunity to meet supermodel Alessandra Ambrosio at the Perfume Avenue. With the organisers packing in influencers, celebrities, perfume experts, as well as exhibitions on perfumes, all day long. Shoppers also get a chance to head to the pop-up market featuring 6 niche local and regional brands - Lootah; Suhad perfumes by Suhad Qenaei from Kuwait; ‘Ne’emah’ perfumes by Mohammed Ne’emah from Kuwait; ANFASS perfumes by Asim Kasim from UAE; AJ Arabia by Ali Al Jaberi from UAE and Jealous Gallery by Abduljabar Al Harthi from UAE. The Annick Goutal Historical Fragrance exhibition, the Ajmal Perfume Museum and the 10 Most Expensive Perfumes Exhibition at Perfume Avenue are the high scented highlights.

There's also the Market Outside The Box, which will transform the Burj Park next to the Burj Khalifa into a fun destination for the entire family. There will be lots of home-grown entertainers, food vendors and fashion stalls to keep the shopping a fun outdoor activity. There's also the first-ever 'Wanderland' exhibition by Luxury French House, Hermes, spread across 1,000 square metres of The Dubai Fountains.

‘Disney’s Sparkling Frozen Forest’ is a chilled out family destination based on Disney’s globally acclaimed animated film 'Frozen'. Decked up at the ice rink of City Walk, the frozen fun continues till January 30. Add to that, there's the Beatbox at BoxPark and Carnival at The Beach to set the family fun mood going.

Global Village is another magnificent spot that offers a unique shopping experience. It's a melting pot of so many varied cultures, opening up a unique world of joy, colours and rhythms.

Shoppers can also take advantage of the fantastic discounts and opportunities to win during the final weekend. For every Dh750 you spend at Paris Gallery, you could walk away with gift vouchers worth up to Dh10,000 or a discount voucher up to 10 per cent off on your next purchase.

Visa customers will be able to avail themselves of limited but incredible, almost impossible, offers during the final weekend of DSF. The deals will be impossibly tempting, typically with 80 per cent of retail price across electronics, travel, entertainment, luxury goods and automobiles.

Shoppers also have the chance to find their true shopping companion with the all new Dubai Festivals App powered by Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank (ADIB). The App lists out all the deals allowing shoppers to search, browse, and discover either by interest, product or offer.

Organised by the Dubai Festivals and Retail Establishment (DFRE), an agency of the Department of Tourism and Commerce Marketing (DTCM), and organisers of the DSF, the festival will close on February 1.

With so much planned, there's really no excuse to stay indoors this weekend. Step out, and be part of the celebrations.
