Dubai-Abu Dhabi traffic snarl; Sheikh Zayed Road clogged

Traffic from Dubai to Abu Dhabi has come to a crawl on Thursday morning, report morning commuters.

Reportedly, tailbacks start from the Dubai Marina.

“Heavy #traffic on #SZR heading to Jabal Ali this morning,” tweeted another driver at 8.01am.

“Traffic toward Abu Dhabi from Dubai Marina is at a crawl,” wrote an office-goer at 7.55am.

Rain and thunderstorms caused major disruptions across the UAE on Wednesday as schools shut, offices closed early, and huge traffic jams due to water logging.
