Dubai Courts ranked 2 globally in 2017 top 10 Court Technology Solutions Awards

Dubai Courts ranked second among the world's 10 best courts and won the Top 10 Court Technology Solutions Award for implementing technological solutions in the judicial field.

The award ceremony was held during the 8th Annual International Association for Court Administration (IACA) in collaboration with the National Association for Court Management (NAMC) in Washington D.C.

 His Excellency Judge Mohamed Mubarak Al Suboosi, Chief Justice of the Commercial Court of First Instance, received the award for Dubai Courts on behalf of His Excellency Taresh Eid Al Mansoori, Director General of Dubai Courts during his participation in the International Court Administration Conference.

The Conference hosted His Excellency Omar Al Shamsi, Deputy UAE Ambassador to the United States and chief justices and dignitaries from a number of judicial jurisdictions and ministries from around the world.

It is worth mentioning that each year ten outstanding courts are honored for improving access to justice through the application of technology.

Court Technology Solutions are judged according to the following criteria: Interactive capabilities which includes (e-payment, e-filing, subscriptions, smart forms, etc.); Access to public records and other helpful information; User interface (layout, navigation, ease of use, etc(.; Optimization for mobile services; and Accessibility of the technological solutions.

 HE Taresh Eid Al Mansoori, Director General of Dubai Courts, stated that Dubai Courts' recognition comes as a result of its achievements and its innovation in facilitating litigation and providing high quality judicial services using modern technologies; which includes the automate the case file and a range of electronic and smart services for all categories of litigants.

Dubai Courts offers 480 electronic and smart services, with a usage rate of 92%.

He added that Dubai Courts is taking a keen interest in the transformation process and will continue to implement its ambitious strategy for smart transformation to maintain its position as one of the world's leading courts in harnessing the latest technologies to achieve justice.

A justice that is quick and accurate and gains the confidence of local and international communities.

Mr. Abdulrahim Al Mudhareb, Director of Information Technology Department, indicated that Dubai Courts' recognition in this award comes in line with the ongoing efforts by Dubai Courts to develop and modernize electronic and smart services and to ensure that customers adopt and use them.
