Dubai Electricity Department introduces use of robots as employees

The Dubai Electricity and Water Authority, DEWA, today announced it has deployed five robots to serve as 'staff' in its customer service centres.

The authority says the move is part of its continuous quest to envision the future, develop mechanisms to enrich customer experience and provide them with quality services.
