A healthier lifestyle was on the agenda as Dubai Investments hosted a medical camp for labourers at Dubai Investments Park (DIP), in association with Prime Medical Center (PMC).

Over 400 labourers attended the event, which was held at one of the labour camps in DIP, nearly 10 day ahead of the holy month of Ramadan.

Led by experienced physicians from PMC, the health camp monitored the workers’ blood pressure, body mass index (BMI), and sugar levels.

The initiative articulated Dubai Investments’ approach to corporate social responsibility, which prioritises the well-being of the community, the workplace, and the environment.

Abdulaziz bin Yagub Al Serkal, General Manager, Dubai Investments, said: “With over 144 labour accommodations hosting 65,000 blue-collared staff at DIP, we look upon the health and safety of the workforce as one of our top priorities.

“As part of this mandate, we host periodic health camps to help workers prevent and better manage diseases.”

Headquartered in Dubai, UAE, Dubai Investments has 40 subsidiary companies with over 19,000 shareholders and paid-up capital of Dh3.5 billion.
